Elgin, IL - The Eagles were back inside the Nest on Wednesday night looking to bounce back from a loss to Grand View on Welcome Weekend. 

JU got off to a bit of a slow start, dropping the first set to the visiting Clarke Pride. But down a set, Judson was able to take the next three sets to run away with the win 3-1. 

It was a big night for senior Ariadna Marquez has she led the way with 10 kills. She was able to provide some big smash hits to spark her squad. 

Jaclyn Riedl added 9 kills and 10 digs. Camila Fundora led with 18 digs has she has gotten off to a nice start in the navy and gold. 

The combo of Alina Romero and Regan McEvoy also had many spark plays for JU diving on the floor. The two also combined for 31 assists and 5 aces. 

In total, the Eagles had 12 aces with Maisie Green tallying six of them. 

Judson's next five matches will all be in conference play with the first being at St. Francis on Thursday September 4th.
