Kenosha, WI - The Eagles began their indoor track season at the Carthage Forever Red Classic.
Judson's talented junior jumper, Aayla-Marie Adams added another victory to her resume in the triple jump. Her mark of 11.42 meters narrowly beat out four jumpers from Wisconsin Parkside. The winning jump came on Adams' third attempt.
Adams also placed ninth in the long jump competition with a mark of 5.11 meters. That top jump also came on her third attempt.
Senior McKinze Kearfott competed in two events. She finished in sixth place in the 800 meters event with a time of 2:47.35. Kearfott was also sixth in the 300 meters event.
Lastly, Caleya Holmes finished in third place in the 400 meters event. Her time of 1:03.05 just missed coming in second place.
With only three Eagles competing in this opening weekend, the seasonal outlook is encouraging once things ramp up in the new calendar year.
