Women's Track and Field Places 4th at CCAC
JOLIET, IL – The Judson women's track and field team scored 63 points on their way to a fourth place finish in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Track and Field Championships on Saturday, hosted by the University of Saint Francis at Memorial Stadium in Joliet. There were nine teams competing for the CCAC team championship and Olivet Nazarene won the meet with 281 points.
Leading the way for the Eagles was Sarah Miller (SR/Barrington, IL), who was the conference champion in the 3000m steeplechase. Miller ran a time of 11:18.47, which is also a qualifying time for her to be able compete at the NAIA track and field championships later this month. Miller also placed 5th in the 1500m run (4:45.56). Also earning All-Conference honors were throwers Kilee Hoffman (JR/Villa Grove, Ill.) and Jennifer Donnell (FR/Schaumburg, IL). Hoffman was the runner-up in the javelin throw as she threw a distance of 106'9". Donnell was the runner-up in the shot put with a throw of 41'10.5".The other participants that scored points for Judson are included in the list below with their place, event, and mark.

The final meet of the year will be the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which will take place in Gulf Shores, Alabama May 21-23. Sarah Miller will participate in the 3000m Steeplechase at this meet.
