Gary, IN     The Judson Women's Soccer Team, continues to impress as they kept a clean sheet against CCAC opponent IU Northwest. Scoring four goals in the first half and 2 goals in the second, the match finished with a victory for the Eagles 6-0.

The Eagles took no time when attacking the opposition's goal as the first two goals were scored within 40 seconds of each other both in the 4th minute. First to get her name on the board was Alex Wawrzyniak off an assist by Thasla Barkmann. Shortly after was Maria Artaloitia scoring goal number two off an assist by Alondra Blanco. After numerous amount of shots on goal attempts, Maria Artaloitia's shot resulted in a goalkeeper save only to land perfectly for Rafaella Ornelas to score the third goal for the Eagles. With less than five minutes left in the first half, Mireyah Macias was able to get her name on the score sheet going into the second has 4-0.

In the second half, the Eagles followed the same pattern with constant shots on goal. In the 59th minute of the match, the Eagles changed the score adding another goal on top of the previous 4 obtained by Thasla Barkmann off an assist from Alex Wawrzyniak. One goal short of a hat trick was Thasla Barkmann as she scored her second of the match in the 64th minute to finish the game for the Eagles.

Judson Women's Soccer is on the pitch Tuesday at the MAC against Trinity Christian.
