Eagles, Coakley Take First Place At Gov State Invite
Chicago, IL - A day after the women's golf team took first place, it was the men's turn. Teeing it up at the Governors State Invite in University Park, it was a great day for the Eagles.
The Judson men's team took home first place with a team score of 291, which was six shots better than the second place team of Governors State.
The one day, 18-hole event was held at the University Park Golf Course with a set up of 6,757 yards and a par of 72.
Individually, Riley Coakley was the low round with a 1-under 71. Coakley, a sophomore from Carpentersville, IL earns his first victory as an Eagle.
Just behind him in second place was Noah McKay with an even par round of 72.
Salvador Paravicini and Parker Dallman finished t-4 with a score of 74.
The Eagles will be back at it on Friday at Randall Oaks as the men will host their fall invite looking for continued success.
