Eagles Compete At Leatherneck
Rockford, IL - This past weekend the Judson Eagles competed at the Leatherneck Classic tournament in Rockford, IL.
On the Men's Varsity side this team continues to grow as a squad as they had a top 25 finish. On day 1 this team had a nice game 2 of 1033 and a solid day of baker to move up in the standings 2 spots from day 1 to day 2. Senior Eric Roberts averaged 201 for his 3 games on Saturday and was 82% on single pins and 65% on Multipins. Freshman Standout Jeremy Gasca averaged 197 and had a high game of 262 and was 83% on single pins.
Sophomore Woodley Dangerfield averaged 195 and was 82% on single pins on the weekend. Freshman Brayland Carpenter averaged 178 and was 73% on single pins on the weekend. Freshman Carson Reid averaged 179 on the weekend and Freshman Matt Fishman was 85% on single pins and struck 38% of the time.
On the Men's JV Blue Team they were able to have a top 15 finish. This team had a high game of 1061 on Saturday. Led by Freshman Standout Kaelexx Oats who averaged 198 with a high game of 246 and went 78% on multipins and struck 44% on the weekend. Sophomore standout Toby Wamsley averaged 196 with a high game of 236 and a fantastic single pin percentage of 96% while striking 46% of the time on the weekend.
Senior Parker Morris came off the bench to average 194 with a high game of 234 and was 86% on single pins and struck 50% of the time on the weekend. Freshman Devyn Franklin averaged 179 and was 73% on single pins and stuck 42% of the time on the weekend. Freshman Zach Poling averaged 170 and was 85% on single pins and Sophomore Aiden Schwichow was 60 on multipins for the weekend.
On the Men's JV Gold Team they were able to come away with a top 25 finish. This team was led by Sophomore Standout Noah Moreno who averaged 193 and was an outstanding 17/17 on single pins for 100% and 80% on multipins and struck 43% of the time for the weekend. Senior Connor Richmond was super solid averaging 180 with a high game of 237 and was a fantastic 92% on single pins and 76% on multipins.
Senior Adan Cabezudo averaged 180 for the weekend and was 71% on multipins and struck 39% of the time. Junior Jeremy Martinez averaged 176 and was 74% on Single Pins and struck 33% of the time and Freshman Kadin Horton was 71% in single pins and struck 30% of the time on the weekend.
