Eagles Steady At Brunswick Classic
Sterling Heights, MI - This past weekend the Judson Eagles competed at the TIER 1 Brunswick Midwest Collegiate Classic tournament in Sterling Heights, MI.
On the Men's Varsity side this team continues to grow as a squad. On Saturday, the team had a high game of 970 and on Sunday they had high games of 213, 255, 257, and 237!
Freshman standout Carson Reid led the way with a fantastic 203.6 average on the weekend and was 84% on single pins and struck a fantastic 53% of the time on the weekend. Sophomore Noah Moreno averaged 183 on the weekend and was 100% on single pins and struck 42% of the time.
Freshman Jeremy Gasca was solid again averaging 181 and striking nearly 40% of the time. Freshman Matt Fishman was 84% on single pins and struck almost 49% of the time on the weekend. Sophomore Woodley Dangerfield was 78% on single pins, Senior Eric Roberts averaged 180 on the weekend, Freshman Brayland Carpenter put up his best strike percentage in his early career at 52% and Sophomore Toby Wamsley had an overall fill percentage of 79%.
This young team is working and growing daily to get better and that hard work is going to start paying off. This team has terrific team chemistry, and major improvement will happen as this season continues.
Next up will be the Leatherneck Classic November 8-9 in Rockford, IL!
