Bio
Coach Nolan Owen enters his third season as Judson University’s Special Teams Coordinator and Specialists Coach. During the 2025 season, Judson’s punt unit was among the best in the NAIA, averaging 41.4 yards per punt with 21 punts downed inside the 20, earning a Top 5 national ranking.
With 19 years of experience coaching specialists across the country, Coach Owen works closely with Judson’s specialists to develop sound mechanics, individualized training regimens, and consistent on-field success.
A former standout long snapper, Coach Owen started 52 consecutive games at the Division I FBS level for Northern Illinois University from 2007–2010.
He and his wife, Rachel, have five children: Lukas, Kaleb, Mikah, Niko, and Gianna.
