Elgin, IL - This season, during football season, The Eagles Spirit Squad will be doing a Spirit Spotlight highlighting our awesome cheerleaders and dancers.

For the fourth home game, the Spotlight was on the following:

Elise Sepulveda is a sophomore from Milwaukee, Wisconsin majoring in Architecture.   She loves cheering for the Spirit Squad because she appreciates the community of girls and the way they create a safe space for each other and care for each other.  She also appreciates how the team shows up no matter what the outcome of the games may be.  Elise's favorite holiday is Christmas because she is a very sentimental person so when her family partakes in all of their traditions it fills her heart.  A current favorite worship song of hers is "So Will I".   It brings her to tears every time and puts her in a state of awe.  If Elise were to choose an alternate mascot for Judson, it would be the Lions because it's such a strong symbol of the Lord.  Lions are fierce and protective and profound!  

Olivia Pereira is a sophomore from St. Louis, Missouri majoring in Architecture.    She loves being a part of the Spirit Squad because she loves the fun little moments they have that truly show how connected they are as a team.  Liv joined this team to dance but she's gained the sweetest family.  Olivia's favorite holiday is Christmas!   If she were to choose an alternate mascot for Judson, she would choose a tiger or a lion.  

Juliana Morales is a junior from Elgin, IL majoring in Nursing.   She loves that the Spirit Squad is able to worship the Lord through dance.  All of the girls on the squad embody Christ in their own way, and you can see that in every game.  Her favorite holiday is Christmas because she loves the decorations and the joy it brings!  Her favorite part of Christmas will always be gathering with family and friends.   Julie's favorite worship song is "Te rescatare" by Pricilla Bueno.   It's the Spanish version of Rescue You.   This song speaks to Juliana because she likes to think of how beautiful it is that God's love can be felt no matter the language or place.   If she were to choose an alternate mascot for Judson, she would choose the Judson Giraffes because she likes how it sounds.
