Elgin, IL - This season, during football season, The Eagles Spirit Squad will be doing a Spirit Spotlight highlighting our awesome cheerleaders and dancers.

For the second home game, the Spotlight was on the following:

Faith Embley is a freshman from Jacksonville, IL majoring in Interior Design.   Faith loves the girls on the team and our Bible studies at the start of practice!  Her favorite holiday is Christmas because she gets to be with all of her family.  Her favorite verse is Galatians 5:6 "the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love".  She enjoys cheering for Judson because she is able to not only uplift the players but also uplift and be involved in the community.  If she were to choose an alternative mascot for Judson, it would be the Eels because the atmosphere here is electric!!

Ashley Weaver is a junior from Cincinnati, OH majoring in Architecture.  She loves the uplifting community of the spirit squad and the energy the girls all bring to the team.   She says that it is such a sweet group of girls who are Christ-centered, who cheer to glorify God, and have the most fun time while doing it. Her favorite holiday is Christmas because it's so jolly and sweet.  Her favorite worship song is "My Heart Your Home" by Maverick.   If Ashley were to choose an alternative mascot for Judson, it would be the Judson Jammers (because it's always a party and you can't have a party without jams)!

Addison Gentry is a freshman from Huntley, IL majoring in Science.  She enjoys the halftime performances and the community on the team!  Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because she gets to spend time with her cousins.  She loves Matthew 6:26-27 because it's such a good reminder not to worry-- God will always provide.  Addison thinks that hyping up the student section and keeping up the energy on game day is a great reason to cheer for Judson!   If she were to choose an alternative mascot, she would choose the Judson Jaguars because the alliteration would be fun for cheers!
