The Eagles also used the weekend to rest a few players as they prepare for the CCAC conference tournament to be held next week in Joliet. Last year's regular season champions, and tournament runner-ups have some unfinished business when they arrive in Joliet. In what projects to be a very competitive double elimination tournament between the conference's top six teams, the Eagles have hopes to be the last team standing come next weekend.
Judson ended the regular season with a 31-19 record overall, and 19-13 in conference play.
For the regular season Kevin Flores and Blake Stempowski each hit .400 or better. Blake was the lone Eagle to play in all 50 games this spring.
Flores and Navarro tied for the team lead in RBI's with 44, Flores also won the home run title with six long balls. Nate Stempowski paced the team with 29 stolen bases.
On the mound, Yasiel Trinidad and Owen Wanner each had six wins, while Trinidad had a slight edge in strikeouts 63 to 53 over Wanner. Daniel Alworth also had a strong season on the mound with five wins, two saves, and 50 strikeouts.
The Eagles project to have several post season awards when those are announced.
